Casetta Barolo
Casetta Barolo is a classic red wine from Piedmont in northern Italy, produced by Casa Vinicola Fratelli Casetta in the Langhe area. Made from 100% Nebbiolo grapes, it represents a traditional Barolo style known for structure, aromatic complexity, and aging potential
Winemaking process
The wine is produced from hand-harvested Nebbiolo grapes grown in hillside vineyards in the Langhe zone of Piedmont. After fermentation, the wine is aged in oak barrels (often Slavonian oak) and further refined in bottle before release, developing complexity and aging potential.
Tasting notes
The wine typically shows a ruby-garnet color that becomes more orange with age. Aromas often include ripe red fruit (cherry, strawberry), rose petals, violets, spice, licorice, and tobacco
