Made In Bio comes from Abruzzo, set up as a young wine-focused company built around one idea: organic isn’t a trend, it’s a production discipline—control in the field, precision in the cellar, and a final wine that stays clean of what doesn’t belong.

The house style leans “free-from” by design. Organic wines made without sulfites sit at the center of the identity, alongside a broader emphasis on avoiding foreign substances like artificial colorings, flavorings, synthetic ingredients, and GMOs.

Location

The company is based in Nocciano, in the province of Pescara—inland Abruzzo, where vineyards and agriculture still define the working landscape.

Winemaking & Philosophy

Made In Bio is structured less like a single estate and more like a production-and-development partner: support across harvest, vinification, bottling, and sales, backed by modern winemaking equipment and direct operational control to keep quality high at an accessible price point.

That same mindset shows up in how they invest in technique. Through the VINOSOPHIA research project, Made In Bio led an industrial research collaboration (with Chiusa Grande and the University “G. d’Annunzio”), aimed at proving an innovative organic winemaking method using hyper-oxygenation, malolactic fermentation, and no sulfites, completed in December 2023.
