47 Anno Domini is the youngest branch of a family story that moves by generations. It begins with grandfather Batista, an agricultural entrepreneur who built his life back up after returning from the front with little more than tenacity and a willingness to risk everything on the land.
From there, the passion passes from children to grandchildren—until Cristian and Andrea ignite their own chapter and create 47 Anno Domini, a winery designed to feel contemporary without cutting the roots that feed it.

Its name isn’t a metaphor—it’s a coordinate in time. The estate ties itself to the Via Claudia Augusta, the Roman road whose construction ended under Emperor Claudius in 47 AD, running through the same terrain where the winery stands today.

Location

The winery is based in Roncade (Treviso), on Via Treviso Mare 2—a setting that the brand frames as a meeting point between countryside and culture, where vineyards sit alongside design, hospitality, and curated experiences.
They also honor the Roman-road origin story physically: a walkway on the estate follows the route where the ancient road once ran.

Winemaking & Philosophy

The vineyard palette is openly territorial—cabernet franc, cabernet sauvignon, merlot, raboso, and glera, revisited through blends and interpretations that include Prosecco DOC in both semi-sparkling and sparkling forms.

Sustainability is treated as operational detail, not packaging. They state they hold organic and vegan certifications, supported by non-invasive vineyard treatments and processing choices.
In the cellar, vegan status is tied to filtration/clarification with vegetable and mineral derivatives, and they describe major infrastructure choices like drip irrigation for water management and an 80 kW photovoltaic system supplying up to 80% of their energy.
