🍷 Tenuta San Vito Chianti DOCG (Organic)

Grape & Region

  • Made from 100 % Sangiovese, grown organically in the Chianti Colli Fiorentini hills, just 18 km south of Florence .

Appearance & Nose

  • Shiny ruby-red in the glass, giving a bright, vibrant first impression .

  • Aromas are fresh and fruity—think bright cherries, red currants—with undertones of dried herbs, pink pepper, mixed flowers, and a touch of earthiness .

Palate & Structure

  • Crisp and refreshing on the palate, medium-bodied with lively acidity and gentle, smooth tannins .

  • Fruit-forward profile: tart cherries, blueberry compote, brambly raspberry, with a spiced finish featuring pink pepper and black pepper tones .

  • A satisfying savory finish with aromatic herbs and a hint of balsamic or roasted tomato .

Winemaking

  • Fermented with 8–10 days of skin contact in stainless steel, followed by aging in glass-lined concrete and occasionally oak, highlighting freshness and varietal purity .

  • Fully certified organic, with over 35 years of chemical‑free viticulture .

Serving & Pairing

  • Serve at 13–15 °C. Pairs beautifully with pasta in tomato sauce, grilled meats, roasted vegetables, charcuterie, and aged cheeses like Pecorino or Parmigiano-Reggiano .
