A medium-bodied aromatic white wine made from 100% Fiano that expresses freshness, bright fruit, and mineral character typical of coastal Puglia. The style is vibrant and elegant, with crisp acidity and a lightly textured palate that reflects calcareous soils and Mediterranean influence.

Winemaking process

Solo Fiano is produced from hand-harvested Fiano grown near the Gargano coast in the countryside of Cerignola on predominantly calcareous soils. The grapes are placed in cold storage for about 24 hours to preserve aromatic compounds, then gently pressed without destemming. After clarification, fermentation occurs at low temperatures (about 12–14°C) to maintain freshness, aromatic intensity, and varietal expression.

Tasting notes

The wine shows aromas of stone fruit such as apricot, pear, and peach alongside citrus zest and orange blossom. Subtle notes of mint and light honey spice appear on the palate, supported by a mineral and slightly saline character. Bright acidity carries through to a fresh, persistent finish.

Food pairings

This wine pairs well with grilled or roasted fish, shellfish, and seafood risotto, as well as white meats and poultry. Its fresh acidity also complements roasted vegetables, light salads, and simple pasta dishes, making it versatile for Mediterranean cuisine.
