Riesling - Brut Crémant d’Alsace
With a bubble that’s delicately elegant, this Crémant is built around restraint and precision. It reads as a pure expression of the Scherwillerois terroir—Riesling in a crisp, dry, zero-dosage style—shaped by family vineyards and a long-standing winemaking tradition.
Winemaking process
Grapes exclusively from the family vineyards of Frey-Sohler. Vineyard practice: cover-crop every other row, with soil worked on the alternating rows. Terroir: gravelly soils (terroir de graves).
Tasting notes
Pale yellow with bright reflections. A fruity, complex nose with subtle notes of ripe fruit, citrus, and spring flowers. On the palate, a lively, dynamic attack and a fine, regular mousse that highlights the nobility of Riesling, balanced by a racy structure and refreshing vibrancy.
Food pairings
Aperitif; celebratory toasts (vin d’honneur). Excellent with smoked fish. Works across a meal, including fish choucroute or traditional choucroute.
