Puro
A structured southern Italian red blend made from Primitivo and Nero di Troia, combining ripe fruit intensity with firm structure and balanced acidity. The wine reflects the warm coastal terroir of northern Puglia, showing depth, concentration, and a robust yet balanced character.
Winemaking process
Puro is produced from Primitivo and Nero di Troia grown in vineyards near the Gargano coast around Cerignola on calcareous soils. The grapes are harvested at different times according to variety, carefully selected, destemmed, and traditionally fermented for about 20 days at controlled temperatures. After malolactic fermentation, the wine is aged in stainless steel tanks for approximately 6–8 months and then bottled and refined further before release, preserving fruit purity and structure.
