Ginepraia Rosso Super Tuscan

Ginepraia Rosso 2021 from Fattoria Uccelliera is a Tuscan red blend that combines native Sangiovese with international varieties to create a balanced “Super Tuscan–style” wine. The result is a fruit-driven, structured red that reflects Tuscany’s warm climate and traditional terroir while adding depth and complexity from Bordeaux-inspired grapes.

Winemaking process

The grapes are harvested from Tuscan vineyards and fermented with skin contact to extract color and tannins. Fermentation occurs in temperature-controlled stainless steel, and the wine is then refined before bottling to maintain fruit purity while integrating structure and spice from the blend.

Tasting notes

The wine shows aromas of Bing cherry, wild strawberry, and raspberry, with deeper notes of dark chocolate, graphite, and subtle spice. On the palate it is medium- to full-bodied, with rich berry fruit, smooth polished tannins, and a warm spicy finish.

Food pairings

This wine pairs well with grilled beef, lamb, and roasted meats, as well as pasta with meat sauces, mushrooms, and aged cheeses. Its balance of fruit and tannin also complements charcuterie and hearty Tuscan cuisine.
