Chianti
A classic Tuscan Chianti from the hills near Florence, this wine highlights the bright, fruit-driven style typical of the appellation. Made from Sangiovese and produced with organic viticulture, it offers lively acidity, fresh red-fruit character, and a balanced, approachable structure that makes it ideal for everyday Italian cuisine.
Winemaking process
Grapes are harvested in October and fermented as a red wine with about 10 days of skin maceration and regular pump-overs to extract color and structure. Malolactic fermentation follows, and the wine matures in stainless steel and glass-lined vats before additional bottle aging to preserve freshness and fruit expression.
Tasting notes
Brilliant ruby red in color, the wine shows fresh aromas of cherry, red currant, and ripe red berries with subtle herbal and peppery nuances. On the palate it is juicy and well balanced, with vibrant acidity and soft tannins that lead to a clean, harmonious finish.
Food pairings
This Chianti pairs naturally with traditional Tuscan dishes and savory Italian cuisine. It works particularly well with tomato-based pasta, roasted meats, grilled sausages, and rustic dishes such as lasagna or braised beef, while its acidity also complements medium-aged cheeses.
